Regency Set of 40 Patisserie Grade Greaseproof Baking Cups, Pink Reviews

Well after baking I didn't see much of a difference in the grease area and I also needed to make 40 cupcakes. Low and behold they only came with 36. If you look at the container it says 36-40 ct. It doesn't even give you an exact amount. I'm giving it three stars because I feel that they were adorable in color but they didn't live up to the expectations of paying what they cost. They are slightly thicker then the color ones you get at the store for $1.50 but it's not a huge difference. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Don't see an advantage to "greaseproof", This review is from: Regency Set of 40 Patisserie Grade Greaseproof Baking Cups, Orange (Kitchen) I thought greaseproof meant that the color held during baking - this was not the case, they basically became transparent like any other cupcake liner. So even though they are cute then didn't hold their color. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful Nothing special, try another brand instead, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Regency Set of 40 Patisserie Grade Greaseproof Baking Cups, Green (Kitchen) I just used these to make a couple dozen chocolate cupcakes and a couple dozen yellow cake cupcakes. In both recipes, the liners turned translucent after baking. These really aren't much better than the cheap baking cups at the grocery store. They are a little thicker but no more opaque. I stopped using these Regency liners half way through the batch and went out to buy the Cupcake Creations liners instead. They stayed opaque (even the white parts) in both the chocolate and yellow cake recipes. Skip these, go for Cupcake Creations Baking Cups, Green Circle 32-Pack instead. |
